Yes! Glasses and Me. It’s an exact title to me and my whole family, I am the first child wearing glasses in my whole family.
Recall the memory that I can pick up, my first time to wear glasses just to satisfy my childish curiosity.
With the oval frames on my nose, I ran around even though every object in my eyes had been blurry. Grandma shouted at me :“Take off the glasses or you will be punished today !” I was so naughty that grandma ran after me angrily. As a consequence, a fear punishment was waiting for me.
I didn’t suffer from myopia until I entered my middle school.
Before the failure of eyesight, I was once deeply convinced that my eyes were strong enough because parents owned excellent vision. After the optometrist told mom and I that I fell into myopia, then, I had to admit that I was indeed wrong, but it seems to late to regret.
With time going by, my parents and relatives received the fact gradually that I had become a myopia and I should wearing glasses all the time except for taking bath and sleep. A few relatives even made fun of me. They said how knowledgeable I was when I wearing the rectangular titanium eyeglasses. But, but I just a middle school student at that time.
From then on, I had determined that one day I would enter one of the most famous university in China. And respond the guys who ever laughed at me with a strong and non-word answer.
Unfortunately many students enrolled in the college with eyeglasses. Now, glasses are not only just to improve the eyesight, but also become a decoration or adornment as ring, ear pendants etc.
So glasses become more and more complicated in shape, color and material. I possess a rectangular blue and half-frame glasses, but now it fade away.
Somebody insist that communications are always disturbed by the fascinating glasses because you find it is difficult to look into the other’s eyes, which are considered to be the windows to one’s mind.
The view can’t be accessible to me. One wearing prscription glasses is just to observe others more vividly, on the contrary, these deny the view.
I acknowledge that people’s nature is hidden behind the two pieces of lens. Einstein said, beauty lies in the simplistic, today , I intend to say, beautiful personality hides behind the two pieces of lens.
